What’s in a name Bats?

Well last December it was announced that Batman: Arkham Asylum was getting a sequel. You could have seen this coming from a mile away, as the game was commercially and criticly a success. Well on July 8th Superannuation discovered that Warner Brothers had registered 15 new domain names for the game giving us an insight to what the sequels subtitle may be, here is the list.
Not only do some of these look like subtitles but some also look to be giving clues about the games main plot line. Stopmayorsharp.com looks interesting since Sharp was the warden of Arkham and hopeing to run for mayor in the first title. Good news is, it was confirmed that Mark Hamill will be returning as the clown prince of crime and and can see Kevin Conroy coming back as the dark knight. There has been speculation on the cast of villans this time around and fingers are pointing towards Two Face, and Mr. freeze, just for starters. When more about the game comes down the pipeline you will hear about it as soon as I do. Until then what are some of your picks for the game? Ashes of Gotham and Rise of Arkham are my picks. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet that was shown off at Spike T.V.‘s VGAs hit the link.

Could be worse. They could be making 10 different Superman games. Or more Iron Man.

Based off the possible subtitles, it sounds like the plot might be similar to “No Mans Land”.

Batman is a classic and has been around for such a long time that it reaches so many people who want to see what is next. When you have a strong name on a product like Batman, you will be profitable! I think that no matter what is up next for Batman, it will be a success. Strong brand names sell!

I gotta agree look at star wars… you put any title out and attach star wars to it and it’s almost an instant success because people want to see a continuation of the story.
