Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Gets New Characters!
This November Capcom will re-release Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with twelve new characters. Not all have been revealed but four have been announced. The four are Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Firebrand, and yes finally Strider. They are calling this re-release “Ultimate” Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The updated version will also have a few new modes, one of which being spectator mode. It will retail for 39.99 when it hits shelves in November. The only downside is so far is there is no word on whether you must purchase this new version to get all the new goodies or if you already have MVC3 you can just download the update for a smaller price. Map Pack for Halo: Reach
Halo: Reach will get its first downloadable content on November 30th. “Noble Pack”, as it’s being called, will contain 3 new maps and new achievements worth 250 gamerscore points. Micrsoft gave a little insight to the upcoming maps. Tempest – “Though we may never fully understand these devices, it is not our nature to leave ancient stones unturned.” This abandoned shoreline facility bends both sea and sky to an unnatural purpose, but the ground itself has quickly become another all too familiar battlefield. Though the two opposing symmetrical bases may never reveal their ancient purpose, both now offer makeshift shelter and access to strategic routes perfectly suited for small and large scale skirmishes alike. Left 4 Dead 2 “The Passing” Released Today
Left 4 Dead 2 “The Passing” was released today. Below are the details about the new addon. “The first game add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay for the PC and Xbox 360. The Passing also introduces a series of weekly game mode events dubbed “Mutations.” These week-long runs of new gameplay modes range from “Realism Versus” mode to “Chainsaw Massacre,” which gives all players chainsaws with an unlimited supply of gasoline. There are over 20 Mutations planned, each playable on all L4D2 Campaigns. Mutations are exclusively available to owners of “The Passing” DLC.
